Tamara is able to support schools with their delivery of Science, ensuring the curriculum is well covered and lessons are creative and engaging for pupils. She has recently supported one of our trust primary schools to further develop the teaching and learning of Science.
Tamara currently teaches Science at The Priory School, acting as second in department and overseeing trainees in the department. Prior to this, she taught in inner city Birmingham for 5 years and, more recently, has completed a Masters in Education with Shrewsbury University.
Tamara enjoys hands-on Science and the practical element of the subject. She is keen to make Science accessible to all and to assist those who lack in confidence in the subject. She has recently supported one of our primary schools to develop the use of practical investigations within Science lessons and to further develop the teaching and learning of Science. During lockdown, Tamara set up a Facebook page with home-focussed investigations for those who wanted to try science experiments at home whilst home schooling.
Tamara has 4 children, a lovely lab, snake and in school giant land snails and stick insects.
